Job Description

           Roles and responsibilities:

    
* Hands on work experience in PS Financial modules like Accounts payable , General ledger , AR, BI & Asset management.
* Asset Management module Good hands-on experience, Asset Depreciation, Asset profiles etc.,
* Good knowledge on Depreciation calculation, Written down value of asset, Asset Retirement
* Worked in GL / AM / AP reconciliation
* Understanding the new requirements from client
* Preparation of FRD
* Work with PS technical team during the support issues
* Create test plans, execute tests and troubleshoot issues

Required skills/experience :
* Strong understanding of core PeopleSoft FSCM modules (General Ledger, Accounts payable, Asset Management, AR & BI)
* Good Knowledge & Understanding about Basic Account concepts & Principles.
* Ability to analyze the finance support issues reported and provide solution
* Ability to communicate with client about the issues and understanding the issues
* Ability to create and execute test plans to support the new development work
* Ability to research/solve issues encountered during testing

·         3-5 yrs experience in Mainframe

·         COBOL, JCL,VSAM, DB2

·         Good analytical, programming skills

·         Able to understand Design documents and do development of programs

·         Able to prepare test cases , test data and perform Unit Testing, SIT

·         Should be able to work independently
