Job Description :
Project Summary and position overview :
The content set maintains data for Deals and Private Equity. The systems encompassed are ingestion system, data collection UI system, Outbound feeds and Database.
The individual filling this position is responsible for the analysis, design, development and maintenance of production software systems for the financial services market. These products include a set of software programs and platforms based in Solaris, C, Shell Script, Oracle technologies that are used for the collection and analytics of financial data.
The individual will be responsible for the following : (a) Development of middle tier and backend tier components (b) Follow Thomson Reuters development standards (c) Produce final development estimates and deliver to schedule (d) Ensure the quality of code produced meets TR and project standards
Day to Day Responsibilities :
* Entire SDLC and dev support process :
(1) Understand requirements
(2) Assess impact on code
(3) Provide detailed and accurate effort and time estimates
(4) Implement requirements
(5) Perform unit testing (developer testing)
(6) Deliver to QA/UAT and cordinate with QA/UAT to fix defects
(7) Prepare release notes
(8) Production and DR deployments
(9) Responding to data queries
(10) Responding to adhoc request for data population

General shift.
100% maintenance (includes developing new modules/screens, bug fixes, and enhancements)

Education Qualification :
Graduation
Required Skills :
• Software development - Minimum 1 year
• RDBMS programming (Oracle preferred) - Minimum 1 year
• C on Unix - Minimum 1 year
Desired Skills
• Knowledge of financial industry terms and applications, especially Private Equity

1) Position- Senior Tester
Location- Bangalore
JD
ü Minimum 4+ years of experience in Software Testing
ü 2 years of experience in QTP Testing or any Automation Testing
ü 1 year experience in VSTS Automation testing
ü ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level Certified (added advantage)
ü Good knowledge in understanding the Business requirements
ü Good knowledge on VB script
ü Have experience in writing, Reviewing, Prioritizing and execution
of test cases.
ü Proven skills in different modes of testing like U.I Testing,
Functional Testing and Regression Testing.
ü Good knowledge in Logging the Defects & Tracking Defects by using
any defect tracking tools
ü Proficiency in performance testing tools like Load Runner.
ü Well versed with all testing concepts and methodologies.
ü Preparing Daily & Weekly Status Reports.
2) Position- Senior Flex Developer
Location- Bangalore
JD
ü Minimum 3+ years of experience in Flex.
ü Must have good experience in Flex 3.0-4.0.
ü Must have experience in Action Script 3.0.
ü Knowledge of any Flex framework (example: Cairngorm) would be an
added advantage.
ü Knowledge of any hands on experience in any mapping library with
Flex would be an added advantage.
ü Knowledge of any panoramic library integration with Flex would be
an added advantage.
3) Position- Senior Software Engineer
Location- Bangalore
JD
Minimum 5 years of experience in Dot Net + Dataflex.
